Breanne offers psychotherapy for various challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, interpersonal difficulties, life transitions, and grief.
Breanne’s therapeutic approach prioritizes compassion, validation, curiosity, respect, and autonomy. She appreciates that entering therapy can be equal parts exciting and nerve-wracking, and her compassionate nature is known to put clients at ease. Breanne begins the therapy process by getting to know the person and their needs, values, goals, and objectives for participating in therapy. From there, she works collaboratively with clients to help them better understand themselves, their feelings and their relationships by providing them with a non-judgmental space to process difficult feelings and experiences. In the process, she will support you in building skills to manage life’s challenges and make meaningful change. Breanne is client-centred, believing in every person’s resilience, strength and wisdom. She utilizes Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns and better understand the relationship between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. Additionally, Breanne’s eclectic approach incorporates Mindfulness-Based-Self-Compassion, Narrative Therapy, and Trauma-Informed modalities.
