Kathryn Baycroft is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. Kathryn received her Master’s degree in Clinical and Counselling Psychology and her certification in Trauma-Informed Psychotherapy from Adler Graduate Professional School. Kathryn also holds a law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School and previously practiced family law in Toronto.
Client-centred and strengths-based, Kathryn flexibly integrates evidence-based therapeutic methods tailored to meet the specific needs of her clients. These methods include: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Psychodynamic Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT).
Kathryn is dedicated to providing a collaborative, empathic and non-judgmental therapeutic environment sensitive to each client’s experiences, identity and culture. She has experience helping clients work through emotionally challenging circumstances with an understanding of the complex interplay of interpersonal and other relationship issues, societal expectations, and mental health considerations. Kathryn seeks to provide clients with a secure base from which they can embark on personal growth, relational healing and meaningful change.
