Sepideh Hossaini, MA, is a compassionate Registered Psychotherapist with an integrative approach to therapy. She holds a Master of Arts in Psychology and is certified in Solution-Focused Brief Therapy from OISE at the University of Toronto. Additionally, she has trained in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy for Trauma, completed the Intensive Sex Therapy Training Program at the University of Guelph, and specialized in the Gottman Method for Couple Therapy from the Gottman Institute.
Sepideh brings extensive experience in supporting clients through a wide range of challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, emotion regulation, trauma, relationship issues, stress management, grief and loss, life transitions, and personal growth. Specializing in couple therapy, Sepideh uses the evidence-based Gottman Method to enhance communication and build intimacy in relationships.
Her integrative and holistic approach ensures that therapy is tailored to each client’s unique needs. She employs a variety of modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, the Gottman Method for Couple Therapy, and Mindfulness and somatic-oriented interventions that highlight the mind-body connection. Her approach focuses on clients’ strengths and fosters a supportive and compassionate space. Cultural sensitivity is at the heart of Sepideh’s practice, allowing her to understand and respect each client’s personal context and experiences. She provides therapy in English and Persian.
