She previously graduated with an MSc in Global Health from McMaster University and a BSc (Hon) in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Toronto.
Tatjana is formally trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and has completed a training course in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. She has extensive experience treating clients with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) at the Frederick W. Thompson Anxiety Disorders Centre at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre where she used Exposure and Response Prevention, general cognitive-behavioural techniques, and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy to treat patients at the outpatient clinic. She also treated patients with a range of mental health disorders at St. Michael’s Hospital at the Psychology Training Clinic.
Tatjana’s research work throughout her Clinical Psychology degrees has focused on perinatal mental health, and the impact symptoms of perinatal anxiety, depression, and trauma can have on parenting behaviours.
Tatjana’s years of academic training and theoretical learning form the basis of her work. She sees each client as a unique individual and believes that a warm, inclusive, and collaborative relationship is the core of all effective psychotherapy. Tatjana has a special interest in treating OCD, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, anxiety, depression, and mood disorders. She also has an interest in treating individuals facing infertility, pregnancy loss, and perinatal mental health symptoms.
